Good to know
- UTM tags are labels on the end of a link. They change nothing for the visitor; they tell your analytics "this visit came from the October flyer".
- Be boring and consistent: lower case, no spaces, the same words every time. "Facebook", "facebook" and "fb" show up as three different sources.
- Use them on links you place elsewhere (posts, emails, ads, print). Never on links inside your own website.
