The rules, in plain language.

Who this covers

These terms cover waypointns.ca, the free tools on it, and Waypoint Social, the posting tool I run at postiz.waypointns.ca. By using any of them you agree to these terms.

Waypoint Software is run by Vatsal Thakkar in Kentville, Nova Scotia. Work I do for clients is covered by the written quote or agreement for that job, not by this page.

The website and free tools

You can use the site and the free tools for your own business. Please do not copy the site, scrape it, or resell the tools.

The free tools give estimates to help you think, not professional, legal, tax or financial advice. Check anything important with the right professional before you act on it.

Waypoint Social (the posting tool)

Waypoint Social is a self-hosted scheduler used by Waypoint to publish posts for its own brands, including Snortlo, Waypoint, Keegix and Staffkin. It is not open to the public.

When an account is connected (TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or others), it is connected by its owner, who logs in on that platform and approves access. The tool only posts what the owner has created and scheduled, at the time they chose.

Every connected account can be disconnected at any time, in the tool or from the platform’s own settings. When an account is disconnected, its access is removed from the tool.

Content posted through the tool must follow each platform’s own rules, including the TikTok Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Your content

Anything you send me stays yours. I only use it to reply to you or to do the work you asked for.

Limits

I work hard to keep the site and tools accurate and running, but they are provided as they are, without guarantees. To the extent the law allows, Waypoint is not liable for losses from using the site, the free tools or the posting tool.

These terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and Canada.

Changes and questions

If these terms change, I will update this page and the date below. Questions: email hello@waypointns.ca.
