Good to know
- Only mark up questions and answers that are visible on the same page, word for word. Markup for content the visitor cannot see breaks Google’s rules.
- Google shows the expandable FAQ result for very few sites these days. The markup is still worth having: it states each answer plainly for search engines and AI assistants.
- Paste the result anywhere in the page’s HTML, usually just before </head> or </body>. In a website builder, look for "custom code" or "header code" in that page’s settings.
