AI that drafts. You decide.
Most AI products ask you to work their way: a new chat window, new words, a new habit. These tools sit inside the steps you already have. The AI writes the first draft of something you already produce, a quote, a reply to an enquiry, a job summary, and a person reads it, edits it and decides whether it goes out.
What is actually in it.
- Drafts of the things you already write: quotes, enquiry replies, job notes, summaries
- Built from your own price list, your own templates and your own wording
- Nothing is sent to a customer until a person has approved it
- A fixed price in writing before anything is built
- If an off-the-shelf AI product already does the job, I will name it

Will the AI send things to my customers on its own?
No. That is the design rule for these tools: the AI drafts and a person decides. Nothing goes to a customer until someone has read it and pressed send.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
It will, sometimes, which is why a person checks every draft before it goes anywhere. Making that check quick, with the draft in front of you and easy to edit, is part of what gets scoped.
Where does my data go when the AI writes a draft?
Drafting usually means sending the text it works from to an outside AI service. Which service a build uses, and what it is sent, is written into the scope before anything is built, so you decide with the facts in front of you.
Do I need this, or do I need ChatGPT?
If copying and pasting into a chat window covers you, keep doing that. A custom tool earns its place when the same kind of draft comes up every day and the AI needs your prices, your templates and your customer history to write it properly.
