Frequently asked

Questions from clinic owners.

We handle patient information. Where does it sit?

In Canada, in the Canada Central region, and I can show you that setting rather than assert it. What I will not do is tell you a build satisfies your regulator or your college. That is a question for them and for your own privacy officer, and any developer who waves it away is a risk to you.

Can it work alongside our practice management system?

Sometimes. It depends entirely on whether your system lets anything else talk to it, and many do not. The honest first step is checking what yours exposes before either of us plans around it.

Do reminders actually reduce no-shows?

A reminder 24 hours ahead is the cheapest thing you can try, and the mechanism is simple: the patient is reminded while there is still time to move the slot. I will not quote you a percentage, because that number depends on your patients, not on my software.

Can patients fill in intake before they arrive?

Yes. Intake arrives typed instead of on a clipboard, which saves your front desk the retyping and saves you deciphering handwriting. Which questions you are permitted to ask, and how long you keep the answers, stays your call.
